Nano polished vitrified tiles: A layer of liquid silica is applied on the vitrified tiles to fill the micro (nano) pores on the tiles surface, thus giving them a smoother feel and look. This type of tiles is called nano polished vitrified tiles. Nowadays most of the factories offer nano polishing for soluble salt tiles to add extra shine to the tiles.

Nano Tiles are an upgrade to the general ceramic tiles that companies have been manufacturing. To compete in the international market and to create more sophisticated products, nano tiles were manufactured.

The term ‘Nano’ in Nano tiles comes from Chemical- Nanotechnology, which makes the tiles contain special nano particles. These particles form a layer on the tiles, thereby giving them water and dust repellent properties.
